Art Christiana – Icons, Religious Art and Devotional Items

Art Christiana is a Polish manufacturer of icons and religious art and a religious gift shop based in Częstochowa. We make our own icons on solid linden wood panels, which we prepare, prime and gild by hand before applying the chosen image directly to the surface.

Our store also offers religious art, devotional items, liturgical supplies, rosaries, crosses, medals, religious books and keepsakes for the sacraments and important occasions in Christian life. We serve individual customers as well as parishes, religious communities and church institutions in Poland and abroad.

Icons and Religious Art by Art Christiana

One of Art Christiana’s main specialties is icons and religious art. Our collection includes images of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, the Holy Family, the Archangels, Guardian Angels, and many saints and blessed figures.

Our own religious icons are made on linden wood panels. The wood is prepared and primed, the gilding is applied by hand, and the image is then applied directly to the prepared surface. We do not describe these products as hand-painted icons; traditional icon painting is a distinct craft.

Many designs can also include a personal dedication, making an icon a special keepsake for a Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, wedding, anniversary or another important occasion.

Devotional Items and Religious Keepsakes

Our devotional items include rosaries, crosses, medals, holy water fonts, religious statues, prayer cards and other items for personal and family devotion.

We also offer keepsakes for sacraments and religious holidays, including gifts for Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and celebrations throughout the liturgical year.

Liturgical Supplies for Churches, Parishes and Chapels

Art Christiana also offers liturgical supplies for churches, chapels, sacristies and religious communities. The range includes liturgical vessels, vestments and textiles, church furnishings and items used in worship.

When choosing these items, their craftsmanship matters, but above all they should be suited to their intended purpose and role in the liturgy.

Art Christiana in Częstochowa

Art Christiana is based in Częstochowa, a city closely associated with Poland’s religious heritage and the Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa. We continue to develop our own collection of sacred images while also offering products from other manufacturers, publishers and workshops.

This brings together Art Christiana’s own products, devotional items, religious literature and specialist liturgical supplies in one store.
